Cannery hours are Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Saturday from 7:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon, and will keep this schedule July through mid-September. The cannery is a commercial kitchen for canning fruits and vegetables for citizens of Lauderdale County. There is no charge for cannery use. It includes pressure cookers, washbasins, a new pea sheller, and a commercial tomato juicer. Cannery employees are on hand to assist patrons with canning needs.
